Dasara is an Indian Telugu ( Tollywood ) language action adventure film. Dasara is written and directed by debutant Srikanth Odela. It stars natural star of Indian South movie industry Nani and Keerthy Suresh. Dasara was released worldwide theatrically on 30th March 2023. With too many positive reviews, Nani delivers career’s best performance, say fans. The film is receiving positive reviews on Twitter. It was the most-awaited pan-India film of natural star Nani.
Dasara
Dasara was announced in October 2021 and ended in January 2023. Nani described Dasara as “pure raw, rustic, and adrenaline-rush of a film.” The film is set in the backdrop of Singareni coal mines near Godavarikhani in Telangana. It was released in Telugu and dubbed versions in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
The teaser of the film was released on 30 January 2023. The trailer of the film was released on 14 March 2023. For the first time in his film career, Natural Star Nani has played an out-and-out mass role in Dasara. This will be Nani’s first pan-Indian film. It is also Nani’s highest-budget film so far. With over 1300 screens across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, this is Nani’s career best and biggest-ever release.
The teaser released by SLV Cinemas has already reached 10M views.
Nani’s Dasara and Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa ( released worldwide on 30th March 2023 ) box office clash in an interesting one since Bholaa is an official remake of South film titled Kaithi. However, the South superstar denied any claims of the clash. He said, “We all love Ajay Devgn and I don’t think there is a clash between the two. I would request everyone to go and watch ‘Bholaa’ in the morning and ‘Dasara’ in the evening.”
Moving ahead, Nani is working on another film that is untitled yet. He said, “My next film will be completely opposite of ‘Dasara’. I will be playing a father of a 6-year-old girl. There will be a completely different setup and my character is also going to be completely different from what I am playing in this movie.”

Ahead of the release, Dasara had already managed to earn big numbers at the box office. According to the trade analysts, the film had already collected over Rs 50 crore in advance booking and is expected to go even higher as on 29th March 2023.
According to trade reports, the film is said to have earned Rs 19.38Crs Worldwide on its first day in all languages. It looks like Dasara will register record-breaking collections in its first weekend.
The film has collected a gross of $630K from premieres in USA which is Nani’s career best.
