As the story unfurls, we meet Vijay Sethupathi as a deadly weapons dealer named Kalee. A flashback suggests Kalee was involved in violent atrocities in a far-flung state. Meanwhile, in the present day, Khan is also seen in the garb of a police officer, with Nayanthara essaying his romantic interest and a fellow law enforcer. The finale builds up to an epic beatdown, as father and son, soldier and cop, reteam to burn Kalee’s empire to the ground.

Key contributors to the Jawan Hindi 2D shows’ advance booking numbers are National Capital Region or NCR (3.34 crore), Mumbai (2.29 crore), Bengaluru (1.90 crore), Hyderabad (1.68 crore), and Kolkata (1.75 crore).
Regions that reported strong advance booking numbers for Jawan’s Hindi IMAX shows are National Capital Region or NCR (30.44 lakh), Mumbai (24.08 lakh), Bengaluru (22.53 lakh), Chennai (7.69 lakh), and Kolkata (3.39 lakh).
Jawan’s Tamil and Telugu versions sold 61,600 tickets and 44,836 tickets so far. With this, the film has made around Rs 26.45 crore in terms of advance gross collections, according to trade portal Sacnilk.

According to Sacnilk, Jawan is likely to make around Rs 40 crore in its advance bookings. Jawan has already surpassed Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 in advance bookings. Gadar 2 made around Rs 18.50 crore during its advance bookings.

Kolkata will be the first city to host the 5 AM showtime for Jawan, sparking enthusiasm in residents from other cities. Citizens took to social media platforms with requests to adopt these early-bird slots. Jawan box office prediction: With huge advance bookings, trade experts believe Shah Rukh Khan will break his own records (Pathaan) and score a huge number.
Producer and film business analyst Girish Johar has predicted ₹100 crore global opening for Jawan. He added that the film may easily cross Pathan’s day-one figures in the domestic market and emerge with an India total (all languages) of ₹60 crore. He also predicted the film may achieve a global score of ₹300 crore by the weekend.
“I am expecting a ₹100-crore global gross on day one. I am expecting around ₹40 crore of that from overseas markets and ₹60 crore in the domestic markets. It should be a comfortable opening. The opening is going to cross the opening figures of Pathaan for sure,” he said.
He added that if the film has the potential to score “ ₹100 crore per day” thereafter, predicting a weekend total of anything between ₹350 crore and ₹400 crore.
₹60-65 crore India collections expected
Executive Director of PVR INOX Ltd Sanjeev Kumar Bijli predicted ₹65 crore opening for Jawan. “About two and a half lakh tickets have been booked in our circuits alone. I have an estimate of all India box office gross of ₹65 crore and about the weekend, I have an estimate of about ₹230 crore.”
Customized early morning shows
MD of Miraj Entertainment Ltd Amit Sharma has confirmed 5am and 6am shows for the film in Kolkata and Jaipur theatres respectively. “We are thrilled to witness the unprecedented excitement surrounding Jawan at Miraj Cinemas. Due to overwhelming public demand, we’ve broken new ground by adding a 5 AM show for a Hindi film in Kolkata, a first in our cinema’s history. Jaipur will experience the earliest screening at 6:05 AM in Hindi, setting a record for the city.” He also confirmed a 6am show on Thursday in Mumbai’s Miraj Cinemas. A total of 28000 tickets have been sold for the opening day at Miraj Cinemas.
